Client challenge

• Company planned to divest of a key component sub-assembler and spin-off into a separate company.

• Company worked with large IT vendor to replicate SAP systems.

• Once applications and data were set up on new SAP instance, testing was required for finance processes to ensure conversions were made correctly

Solution

• Tested key finance functions of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash to ensure proper functioning of systems.

• Supported the first accounting close of the newly created company.

Impact on client's business

• NewCo was spun off and successfully completed first monthly close as a separate company.
