• U.S. based division of Swiss pharmaceutical company needed to improve both the cycle time to complete budgets and forecasts, as well as provide more meaningful information to its managers to proactively manage their business.

Solution

• Reviewed and documented the current state budget and forecasting processes, noting bottlenecks in data availability and the iterations of management review

• Developed a future state process with better data provisioning, fewer iterations, and few line items in the forecast to speed the delivery of timely and relevant information to managers.
